Adria Future Summit on 22 April in Tivat

09/10/2025

The Adria Future Summit 2026 will take place from 22 to 24 April in Porto Montenegro (Tivat). As the successor to the ESG Adria Summit, which over the past three years has brought together more than 2,000 participants from business, institutions and academia, the Summit continues to develop its role as the leading regional platform for innovation, sustainable development and investment. The goal is clear: to maintain dialogue, build partnerships and drive concrete changes that can shape the future of Southeast Europe.

The Director of Sustineri Partners and founder of the Summit, Biljana Braithwaite, emphasises the importance of this moment: “In times of global challenges, Montenegro has the opportunity to stand out as an example of constructive dialogue, political stability and a European perspective. The planned EU membership by the end of the decade provides a realistic basis for investment, innovation and new partnerships. The Summit is conceived as a platform that brings together those who wish to work jointly on a vision of a sustainable and prosperous future for the region.”

This year’s edition of the Summit will be thematically expanded and focused on key issues such as the green transition, digital transformation, infrastructure development, technology and investment. It will also address topics that directly influence business and strategic planning, such as CBAM, climate policies and changes in global supply chains.

“We are no longer talking only about ideas – we are working on projects that last throughout the year. The Summit is a meeting point where leaders connect and agree on concrete steps. If we do not discuss the topics that shape us, others will define them instead of us,” says Aleksandra Njagulj, Co-Founder of Sustineri Partners and an expert in sustainable development.

At previous editions of the Summit, distinguished experts and leaders have spoken, including Cherie Blair, Dex Hunter-Torricke, Jakov Milatović, Milojko Spajić, Katrín Jakobsdóttir, Federica Mogherini, Benedikt Franke, Ian Goldin, Leo Johnson, Atifete Jahjaga, Nataša Pirc Musar, Irena Radović, Mohamed Alabbar and many others.

It is expected that the 2026 Summit will gather more than 800 participants from over 30 countries. Preparations are already underway, in close cooperation between Sustineri Partners, the Municipality of Tivat and Porto Montenegro as the event host, with institutional support from the Government of Montenegro and under the patronage of the President of Montenegro.

“Adria Future Summit is not an end in itself; it is a catalyst for change. Our goal is to turn ideas into concrete actions, to open new business flows and create tangible results. Tivat and Porto Montenegro will be spaces for serious dialogue about what the region can and should become,” concludes Biljana Braithwaite.
